The Miami football team has offered Arizona transfer wide receiver Dorian Singer according to his tweet. Singer led the Pac-12 Conference with 1,105 receiving yards, was sixth with 66 receptions and tied for 11th with six touchdown receptions in 2022. Singer helped the Wildcats improve from 1-11 in 2022 to 5-7 this season.

Arizona is coached by Jedd Fisch who was the Miami offensive coordinator in 2011 and 2012. Singer improved significantly over his freshman season after recording 18 receptions for 301 yards in 2021. Single led Arizona in receiving yards, was second in receiving yards and third in TD receptions.

In two seasons with Arizona Singer significantly exceeded his recruiting rankings. Coming out of high school Singer was the 1,030th ranked player, 147th WR and 18th player in Arizona out of Phoenix Pinnacle High School in the Class of 2021 per the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

Singer had four 100-yard games this season including back-to-back at California and against Colorado. The official Arizona website lists Singer at 6’1 without a weight. Singer was listed as 6’0, 172 pounds on his 247 Sports profile coming out of high school. There are conflicting reports that Singer was offered by Miami.

Inside the U has taken down a report about the offer after Gaby Urrutia tweeted that Singer has not received an offer from the Miami football program. The above tweet from Singer is still up on his website. Expect WR to be a position Miami targets in the transfer portal. Miami did not have a consistent play WR in 2022.

In addition to the four 100-yard games, Singer also had at least 80 yards receiving in a game four times this season. Singer was a late-blooming player. Arizona did not play Singer in the first seven games of the 2021 season. Singer twice recorded games of at least 80 yards receiving in the final five games in 2021.

Singer also tweeted that he has received offers from Arizona’s Pac-12 rivals Arizona State and Utah. Expect Singer to be one of the most highly sought-after transfer WRs in the 2023 portal. Miami only has commitments at WR in the 2023 class from four-star prospects Nathaniel Joseph and Robby Washington.
