Positions open at Rochester Federal Medical Center

(ABC 6 News) – It’s national recruitment day for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Rochester’s Federal Medical Center is among those institutions looking to fill some important positions.
On the first Saturday of every month through the 2023 fiscal year, FMC will be hosting a job fair.
Some of the current open positions include correctional officers, registered nurses, nursing assistant and many more.
Running from 9 am to 2 pm, on-hand staff will walk interested applicants through the process and answer any questions they may have.
“Just like everybody, the local community and the national, they are having a hard time recruiting and retaining staff. So that’s kind of our goal, to get our name out there, let people know that we’re here, let them know that we’re hiring people,” explained Brian Osburn, the human resource manager at Rochester FMC.
