One dead, two injured after shooting near Huffman High School in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) —
One man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Monday afternoon near Huffman High School in east Birmingham.

The Birmingham Police Department said the incident happened in the 700 block of Springville Road shortly before 3:30 p.m.
Police said all three men were taken to UAB Hospital. 22-year-old Timothy Wayne Worsham III died at the hospital.
Police said there are no suspects in custody and no students were injured.
