State Patrol identifies driver killed in fiery rollover crash on I-41

WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WBAY) - UPDATE 12/7

The Wisconsin State Patrol has identified the driver in a fatal crash on I-41 as 58-year-old Todd Kagelmann.

The crash happened Monday, Dec. 5, on I-41 northbound at Wrightstown Road near Wrightstown.

The State Patrol says Kagelmann was driving north on I-41 when he went off the roadway just before 11 a.m.

Kagelmann’s vehicle rolled several times and caught fire. He was unable to get out of the vehicle.

Kagelmann was wearing a seatbelt, according to the State Patrol.

The Wisconsin State Patrol received help from Kaukauna Fire & EMS, Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, and other local agencies.

INITIAL REPORT

The Wisconsin State Patrol says one person is dead from a fiery crash on Interstate 41 near Wrightstown Monday.

Just before 11 a.m., the victim was driving north on I-41 and went off the side of the road. The vehicle rolled over several times and caught fire.

The driver was unable to get out of the wreckage and died. The state patrol didn’t release any information about the driver.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, Kaukauna Fire and EMS, and other local law enforcement agencies assisted at the crash scene.
