Autopsy results have led to a homicide investigation in Kansas City, Kansas. The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department now believes foul play was involved with a body found on Sep. 15, 2022.On Monday, police released the identity of a victim found in a wooded area in the 4200 block of Kaw Drive.An individual walking in the area found the body of Ottoniel Agustin-Chavez, 41, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri. Based on Agustin-Chavez's autopsy results, the case is being investigated as a homicide.This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). All tips are anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.Authorities have not released any further information at this time.
