30+ years ago there was a children’s epidemic here on the border it was RSV. And the county doctors found it was coming from Juarez or across the border. Vast amounts of kids were coming over for the holidays and so infected the population here. It’s very contagious and spreads like wild fire like malls, busy restaurants, social gatherings for the holidays etc.
