Event will be held Wednesday, December 7

Cookeville – The Tennessee Department of Veterans Services will be hosting a town hall meeting at Leslie Town Centre on Wednesday, December 7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held in the upstairs Herald-Citizen Room at Leslie Town Centre at One West First Street in Cookeville.

The Veterans State Commissioner and his staff will be present to answer questions.

“We are hoping that all veterans in the Upper Cumberland will attend the Town Hall meeting to have their voices be heard.” Said Michael Glass, Veteran Resource Coordinator.

Co-owned by the City of Cookeville and Putnam County, Leslie Town Centre is supported solely by the revenues from its two venue spaces. The Estes Williams Center is 7,200 square feet and the Herald–Citizen Room, on the upper level, is 1,500 square feet. The building houses the offices of the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development & Communications and Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Public Building Authority governs Leslie Town Centre for the benefit of the community.
