Cleveland teenager in critical condition after being struck by vehicle

A Cleveland EMS worker was reassigned after making an apparent "inappropriate gesture" at Anton Grdina School, where elementary school students were being treated for eating weed gummies.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car in the city’s Glenville neighborhood Monday morning.

Cleveland police said the teenager was walking across the street about 8:30 a.m. near E. 115th St. and Superior Avenue when he was struck by the vehicle. The driver remained on scene, police said.

The yout was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital by Cleveland EMS, and he is in critical condition, police said. The identity of the teenager is not being released at this time.
