LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash in southeast Lincoln, police say.

The crash happened at the intersection of 84th Street and Nebraska Parkway around 11:49 p.m. Friday, according to police.

A 24-year-old woman was turning west onto Nebraska Parkway when a southbound Dodge Challenger went through the intersection and struck her vehicle.

Police say the woman was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The passenger, a 23-year-old woman, was also taken to a hospital, but with injuries that were not life-threatening.
