BRISTOL - The New England Carousel Museum will be offering board game nights for adults starting Feb. 23. Katie Bassett, education manager at the museum at 95 Riverside Ave., said that she hopes to offer monthly board games. People of all ages can begin arriving when the museum opens at 10 a.m. and then, from 5 to 8 p.m., there will be a BYOB board game time for adults.

SOUTHINGTON – A pair of teams looking to get back on track met in Southington on Thursday night. The Blue Knights (10-4) were fresh off the 29-point loss earlier in the week and got the best of the Bristol Central Rams (5-10) who are now losers of five-straight. The Knights jumped the Rams defensively en route to the 59-43 Southington victory.

The Central Connecticut State Blue Devils’ spring slate will once again be headlined by their baseball program in 2023. CCSU baseball was voted atop the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll with six first-place votes. Softball and women’s lacrosse were each voted seventh ahead of the upcoming seasons.
