Robbery suspects arrested in Elmo after high speed chase

MISSOULA, Mont. —
Lake County Sheriff Don Bell confirms robbery suspects were taken into custody after a high speed chase that ended in the Elmo area at around 2 a.m.

A combination of officers from various agencies helped in the arrest.
Sheriff Brian Heino says Kalispell police started chasing a possibly armed suspect from a robbery on Main Street. The robbery possibly involved in stealing a vehicle off Highway 2 west, the chase hit 95 miles an hour at times going into Lake County.
Lake County Sheriff's Office stopped the vehicle with spike strips at the Highway 28 and Highway 93 intersection.
Neither the driver nor his female passenger were injured and officers turned them over to Kalispell police.
