We've all seen cute videos of toddlers and small children reacting to their new puppies, but have you ever seen how a grown man reacts to getting his own new puppy? Exactly the same!
A man from Canada has melted hearts online with his reaction to receiving the puppy he always wanted for his birthday, leaving the internet "bawling their eyes out."
In the video, which was shared on TikTok on Sunday by the man's daughter posting under the username Kelseyhayes._, the man can be seen gasping, over the moon with joy, as his daughter handed him a basket with the Labrador puppy inside.

He immediately said, "I love him," and apparently the puppy, which he named Ruger, loved him too, as he was "hugging [his] arm!" The man's second reaction was: "He's so fat, he looks like a beaver!"
In the video, his daughter, who was actually the one that bought him the puppy, explained that her dad has always wanted a puppy, specifically a Labrador.
"After years of my dad asking for a chocolate lab... He finally got one for his birthday!! We love you dad enjoy your new puppy," she explained as a caption on the video said: "Never seen my dad so happy."
According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), Labrador retrievers have been America's favorite dog since 1991, without missing a single year.
This year the most popular dogs in the United States include the Labrador retriever as usual, followed by the French bulldog, German shepherd, golden retriever, bulldog, poodle, beagle, rottweiler, dachshund and German shorthaired pointer.
Labradors are easygoing, affectionate, energetic dogs who are family-friendly all-rounders, equally at home on the couch or in the field.
They were initially bred to hunt, and thanks to their intelligence, eagerness to please, and willingness to work hard, Labradors are invaluable workers in a variety of fields. They're among the most popular choices for service dog work, as well as search and rescue, bomb and drug detection, and therapy dog work.
The video quickly attracted animal lovers from all over the platform, receiving over 21.3 million views and 4.6 million likes so far.
One user, Andi, commented: "Growing up with a chocolate lab—get ready for lots and lots of energy, food begs, chaos and love. They are the best dogs EVER."
Nina V said: "The way he says 'I love him!' He turned into a kid again in that moment." And Sydney-rose wrote: "My dad got me a chocolate lab when I was in grade 8 & the chocolate lab is literally my dad's dog now [because] he is obsessed with her.."
Another user, Evan, expected a different video: "Why did I think a chocolate lab was a lab where u make chocolate." And Dean Deacon287 said: "I had a different chocolate lab in mind... this one was much better."
Shy wrote: "IM NOT CRYING YOU ARE." And Alex Rowland added: "I AM BAWLING MY EYES OUT." Firefly said: "HES SO FAT! What a beautiful reaction. Labs are the best." And Nicole noted: "The way he gasped." Sergio pointed out: "His favorite child finally arrived."
