GObike Buffalo’s new Headquarters on Broadway

GObike Buffalo has a new headquarters at 313 Broadway. This is the building that has been meticulously restored by architect Michael Anderson (learn more). The first floor space will be finished before Christmas, says Anderson. Once GObike moves into the building, it will be 100% occupied.

Anderson’s Abstract Architecture occupies the circa-1892 building’s second floor, and he has a residence on the third floor. The second floor is also a mix of GOBike offices (coming soon), an interior designer (Inspired Space Design), and flex space, according to Anderson.

This is all great news for Anderson, Buffalo, the bike community, GObike Buffalo, the East Side, Broadway, and the lovingly restored building. GObike’s move to Broadway is akin to Campus Wheelworks and the dedicated cycle track bike lanes popping up on Niagara Street. With GObike firmly rooted on the city’s East Side, the organization will be able to continue its mission to promote stronger bike culture, alongside numerous other East Side organizations that have been working tirelessly to revitalize the area. GObike adds to the urbanist momentum instilled by the likes of Sycamore Village and Willert Park Village Community Association block clubs, alongside community leaders such as Gail Wells, Della Miller, Ruth Bryant, and Debra Hall.

Anyone that would like to support GObike Buffalo and this inspirational move to 313 Broadway, should consider attending Solstice Soirée event on Thursday, December 8 (see Facebook event).

“We invite you to celebrate a very special occasion this year, as we welcome the public for the first time to 313 Broadway — the site of GObike’s future headquarters!” – GObike Buffalo
