A tractor trailer rolled over on Route 309 near Interstate 78 Monday morning, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky tweeted just before 7 a.m. Monday that the tractor trailer flipped over on Route 309 near Center Valley Parkway in Upper Saucon Township.
A photo shows the truck flipped over on Route 309. The truck was blocking all traffic from exiting Interstate 78 east onto Route 309.
A traffic update posted on the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation website, 511pa.com, said the crash was in the southbound lanes of Route 309. It said traffic could not exit from Route 309 onto Interstate 78. It also said drivers headed east on I-78 could not get off the interstate at the Route 309 south exit.
A tweet from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Route 309 was reopened by 8:10 a.m.
The crash was near the Promenade Shops of Saucon Valley.
