Nate Diaz has been awarded a key to the city of Stockton, California.

Throughout his legendary UFC career, Diaz has proudly represented his hometown of Stockton, California. At 37, the former UFC lightweight title challenger is reaping the rewards of his hard work and determination.

Diaz made an appearance at a G-League basketball game for the Stockton Kings, a Sacramento Kings affiliate. The UFC legend was brought on the court with California Mayor Kevin J. Lincoln, who had this to say:

“I want say it’s an honor, thank you very much to Stockton, California, for rocking with me. I’ve been rocking with Stockton this whole time … I’m going to be forever rocking Stockton, I ain’t going now here.

Zach Rosenfield, manager of Nate Diaz, reveals McGregor vs. Diaz trilogy fight is still possible

Nate Diaz became a free agent after winning his last fight against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. The Stockton native has been openly loving his new freedom, but his days in the UFC might not be over. During an interview with MMA Junkie, Diaz’s manager, Zach Rosenfield, had this to say:

“Nate (Diaz) is going to be looking at the biggest fights possible. He has stated that completing the trilogy with Conor McGregor is something that interests him, and that has not changed.”

Diaz showed interest in returning to the UFC during his UFC 279 post-fight interview. The question is, will he fight Conor McGregor next or explore options outside the UFC first? He has also been tied to rumors about potentially boxing Jake Paul or another social media personality.
