ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Some rain in the forecast and a warm start to the week

Happy Sunday! It's been a gloomy day today with cloudy skies and some sprinkles here and there. As of the 5 PM hour we have showers to the north of El Paso moving south. Therefore we do expect more rain to move into El Paso in the next few hours (likely between 7-11 PM tonight).

For tomorrow, we expect overall drier conditions but we could still see a few more showers both in the morning and afternoon. I do expect coverage to be a lot less though...which may make some of yall a bit happier. We are keeping rain chances in the forecast through Wednesday, so you'll have a few more chances to see Mother Nature's Tears.

The start of the work week will be a warm one, with temperatures in the low 70s! Yay for me...that's also over 10 degrees above average. By late Wednesday night, and early Thursday morning, a cold front will move in from the west, which will give us some low-end breezy conditions and drop our temperatures back to seasonable.
