Fasching

Hudson Fasching made his New York Islanders debut on Sunday night, filling in for the injured Cal Clutterbuck. Fasching played 13:04 with two shots, two hits and a block on a line with Matt Martin and Casey Cizikas.
"It's always reinvigorating," Fasching said of getting called back up to the NHL. "You get the adrenaline going and to be in this organization to get that call is a real honor. I was real excited to be here today."
Head Coach Lane Lambert gave Fasching's first game as an Islander a positive review.
"What I saw was a real structural guy, who knows his position and knows where to be," Lambert said. "He used his big body to protect pucks and create scoring chances and he went to the net hard, I thought he played very well."
