A 26-year-old woman died Sunday after her vehicle crashed off a road in the Lakeside area and caught fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The solo-vehicle crash was reported about 4:30 p.m. on Wildcat Canyon Road near Muth Valley Road, north of El Capitan High School and south of the Barona Resort & Casino.
