The Broadway League, in partnership with the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), has announced Teachers Night on Broadway. Five-hundred New York City public school educators will gather on Feb. 2 to attend the evening performance of “Chicago.” The event recognizes efforts of teachers, chaperones, guidance counselors and more on behalf of Broadway Bridges, an initiative from the League that looks to provide every New York City public high school student with the chance to see a Broadway show before they graduate. More than 80,000 students have already benefited from the program.
