CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a crash at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and U.S. 19 early Sunday morning that killed a motorcyclist.

The crash occurred when a westbound Toyota Prius, driven by Hannah Ray, 28, of Clearwater, turned in front of an eastbound motorcycle.

The 2002 Honda motorcycle then collided with the Prius.

The motorcyclist, Jeffrey Conner, 32, of Clearwater, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died.

According to police, Ray exhibited signs of impairment at the scene and was charged with DUI manslaughter. She was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
