MILLBURY, Mass. - The Millbury Chain of Lights returned for its 23rd year Sunday afternoon.

People could make nearly 40 stops around town, which had experiences like holiday shopping, live music and performances, activities, raffles and food. If you wanted to get around town, you didn't have to worry about walking or driving, old-fashioned trolleys provided free transportation throughout the day.

The event is put on by local businesses and organizations including restaurants, coffee shops, banks and other small businesses.

"It’s great, I love going around to all the small businesses and being able to support everyone, it’s great to celebrate the holidays and bring the little ones to see Santa and everything like that," said shopper Alanna Manzella.

"I love Christmas so I love the Chain of Lights, I come every year and I find it as a tradition to come every year," said James Glidden.

The Chain of Lights wrapped up with a tree-lighting featuring Santa Claus at the Millbury bandstand.
