Mizzou men’s basketball improves to 9-0 after win over SEMO

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team remains unbeaten after a 95-89 win Sunday against in-state foe Southeast Missouri State.

Kobe Brown led the way for the Tigers with an all-around performance, 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Sean East II also had his highest scoring game so far for Mizzou with 21 points, six assists and four steals.

Two other Mizzou players scored in double-figures with D'Moi Hodge finishing with 15 and Nick Honor with 11.

As a team, the Tigers shot 50% from the three-point line and forced 19 turnovers.

As the group improves to 9-0 on the season, Mizzou will prepare to take on No. 9 Kansas in the Border Showdown Saturday at 4:15 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.
