Holiday at the Plaza draws hundreds to Lewiston

The city shut down Lisbon Street to invite vendors for folks to finish their Christmas shopping.
LEWISTON (WGME) - Even after a last minute change, Lewiston's Holiday at the Plaza drew a crowd of hundreds Sunday afternoon.

Originally scheduled or Saturday, it got bumped due to the rain but the crisp cold air made for extra holiday cheer.
The city shut down Lisbon Street to invite vendors for folks to finish their Christmas shopping.
Kids also got the chance to meet Santa and play all sorts of games.
Folks with the city of Lewiston say it's one of their largest celebrations on their calendar.
"I mean when you get to see reindeer, snow globes, horses, family time," said Colt Bush.

The festival ends every year with their annual lighting of the city's Christmas tree and menorah.
