Alaska Waste employees build over 100 bikes to give as Christmas gifts

"The people building the bikes are our team members and their families and they are all incredible,” Alaska Waste Community Outreach Specialist Laurel Andrews said. "This is my favorite event of the year. I look forward to this every year working with Alaska Waste."
Fourth and fifth graders from both Orion and Aurora Elementary School spent the day on Alaska's largest military installation learning about the planet, how to keep it healthy, and other cultural resources specific to the state.
