Strictly Come Dancing’s Kym Marsh and Graziano di Prima have celebrated their friendship with some heartfelt Instagram posts.

The pair became the tenth couple to be eliminated after their defeat to Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu in Saturday’s dance-off, and they have now paid tribute to each other.

“Thank you so much to everyone who supported us throughout this competition! We had such a great time! I will never forget this moment in my life,” wrote Kym. I have made a friend for life in @grazianodiprima but I have to say a huge Thank you to my family.

“My husband, my son, my daughter, their partners, my parents, my siblings, I could not have got through this without them! I love you my beautiful family! Graziano you are now an honorary Marsh!! We love you. Thank you for the fun, the laughter and thank you for showing me that I am stronger than I think! Love you!!” she continued.

Graziano followed suit, praising the Coronation Street and Waterloo Road actress for her hard work and saying he had found “a friend for life.”

“To my friend, my WARRIOR, the person that made me realize that if you work hard everything is possible!” he wrote. How much I learned from you my friend!! I had the best time and we arrived to the QUARTER FINALS 😍! please somebody pinch me! I’ll be part of your family always, this is what Strictly is about.. Find a friend for life.”

Upon their exit in Saturday night’s eliminator, Kym said her partner was “wonderful” whilst adding that she had “loved every single second” of the Strictly experience.

This year’s series is now entering its final stages, with next weekend’s semi-final seeing Fleur East, Hamza Yassin, Will Mellor, Molly Rainford and Helen Skelton competing for a spot in the showpiece event.

For one week only, Strictly Come Dancing airs on Sunday, December 11 at 7.15pm on BBC One, with a results show on Monday, December 12. Spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
