Anita Mullins, 70, peacefully passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2022.
“Neeta” was born in the Bronx, New York on February 12, 1952 and resided in New Haven for 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Terence Burns; brother, Roland Mullins and sister-in-law, Waltrina; brothers, Richard and Terry Mullins; sister, Deborah Mullins; nieces, Genesis, Felicia, Angela, and Keyrah Mullins; nephews, Marc, Stephen, David, Dorian, Brandon, and Cyrus Mullins, and Patrick Hill; cousins, Mattie Brown and Coleman Vincent, Brenda Fulcher, and Donna Nolan of Akron, Ohio; and a host of family and friends. Nita is predeceased by mother, Louise Mullins; father, Willie Mullins; and aunt, Blanche Malone.
A celebration of her life will take place Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
