EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – One person is dead after a shooting in Evansville Sunday morning.
EPD Sgt. Anna Gray said one woman was killed.
Evansville Police have arrested 44-year-old Clifton Fletcher in connection with the shooting. He is currently being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail, and faces a murder charge.
Dispatch said the call came in around 9 a.m. and officers were sent to the 1600 block of Clayton Avenue for a person with a gun.
The shooting is still under investigation.
