Love Island star Liam Reardon has shared information about his split from Millie Court, revealing that the relationship ended so that he could put self-love first.
The pair met on 2021's Love Island, going on to win the show before separating this summer.
Now, Liam has taken the opportunity to appear on Celebs Go Dating, and opened up to dating gurus Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson about the break up.

When asked by Paul about the past relationship, and who had been the one to call time, Liam shared: "I instigated it… if we're going to be together for me to love her, I need to love myself and the past few months have been a bit… you know… I need to find myself again."
He also touched on how the couple had coped with the decision to end their relationship, revealing that Millie was "upset, like I was", before adding: "One of the things was we've had such an amazing experience together and you don't want it to end but then… it's a tricky one."
He explained that life had got more complicated since being on the show, and that after falling for Millie in the villa, he didn't recognise his life: "The life I did have is almost not there. It's been a rollercoaster, I went from a small life in Wales, being a bricklayer to being catapulted into this new life and I found it difficult."

However, the reality star suggested that their break up wasn't necessarily a complete ending: "I just feel like never say never, you know, in the future we could, you know, we could rekindle."
Liam has expressed similar sentiments in the past, saying: "I definitely haven't ruled it out because I know her morals and what she has, and that is something I would want in someone, in a wife."
Whether he'll find love on Celebs Go Dating remains to be seen, but catch up each weeknight at 10pm on E4 to find out.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
