The bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent performs at the Blue Gate in Shipshewana

SHIPSHEWANA — The bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent performs at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center, 760 S. Van Buren St.

Since 2008, the group has released nine albums, including its most recent, 2018’s “Sounds of Christmas.”

Jamie Dailey (guitar, bass, lead and harmony vocals) was the lead singer and a multi-instrumentalist Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver from 1998 to 2008.

Darrin Vincent (mandolin, bass, guitar, lead and harmony vocals) played with Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder for 10 years and with his family band, The Sally Mountain Show, along with sister Rhonda Vincent, before that.
