The Knoxville City Council is scheduled to meet in regular session Monday, December 5 at 6:15 p.m. at the municipal building.

The council will consider approving the second consideration and possibly waive the third consideration, and adopt an ordinance providing for the division of taxes levied on taxable property in the 2022 Ridge Development Urban Renewal Area. There will also be a public hearing on Ridge Development authorizing tax increment payments.

They will also look at accepting work and approving final cost of the 2022 Street Improvements Project

Council will discuss approving Elite Dance Pay Application #1. They will discuss action for a Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund Grant in partnership with Habitat For Humanity of Marion County. They will look at discussion on Downtown Building Revitalization Strategies for Fiscal Year 2024.

There will also be a Public Works Budget Presentation.
