Chael Sonnen is skeptical about Jon Jones’ weight gain in his heavyweight debut. It has been three years since former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones stepped foot into the Octagon. Back in August 2020, Jones decided to relinquish his title and set his sights on a move to the heavyweight division. Over the last three years, he has been working to bulk up and pack on more weight in order to be ready for the heaviest of all divisions in the UFC. Recently Jones came out and said he was trying to “pack on 40 pounds “ in order to prepare for his next bout against Ciryl Gane.

John McCarthy Says There Is ‘Huge Difference’ In Grappling Between Makhachev And ‘Not Great’ Volkanovski
John McCarthy believes Islam Makhachev‘s ground game is levels above Alexander Volkanovski. Following his fourth successful title defense, the UFC Featherweight Champion has sought a new challenge at lightweight. Volkanovski attempts to become a two-division champion as he meets defending king Makhachev in the main event of UFC 284.
Former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier does not think Fedor Emelianenko is the greatest heavyweight fighter of all time. Emelianenko is widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists ever. He boasts a stellar resume with multiple championships under his belt and a dominant unbeaten run between 2001 and 2009 under the Pride and Affliction banner. He walked away from professional competition after a final outing against Ryan Bader at Bellator 290.

Buffer has been announcing for the Las Vegas-based MMA promotion since 1996.
Ciryl Gane is all good if he never gets a rematch with Francis Ngannou. One year after defeating Gane in a closely-contested bout, the UFC Heavyweight Champion would part ways with the company, leaving his title for the taking. ‘Bon Gamin’ will take on the returning Jon Jones for the vacant heavyweight championship in the main event of UFC 285 on March 4th.
Javier Mendez has provided a detailed breakdown of the UFC 284 main event between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski. Mendez joined Submission Radio to discuss the highly-anticipated fight and had this to say:
Even Steve-O has chimed in on the criticism towards Dana White’s new Power Slap League. The league launched earlier this year shortly after the sport of slap fighting began to go viral on social media. However, given some controversy involving UFC president Dana White and his wife on New Year’s Eve, the league faced a bit of backlash upon its launch.
Unlike Dana White, Scott Coker dubs Fedor Emelianenko as the heavyweight GOAT. At 46 years old, ‘The Last Emperor’ had his last dance at Bellator 290 where he faced heavyweight champion Ryan Bader in a rematch. Unfortunately, Fedor fell short once again, being TKO’ed by Bader in the opening round. Despite the loss, Fedor would ride off into the sunset, retiring right next to a star-studded lineup of other MMA legends.

Ciryl Gane thinks it makes sense for Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blaydes to fight next to determine the number one heavyweight contender. On March 4, Gane and Jon Jones will compete for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship after Francis Ngannou parted ways with the promotion. Now that Ngannou is out of the picture, the heavyweight division is suddenly unpredictable.
Dana White addressed the issue regarding Islam Makhachev’s controversial comment about how UFC 284 is being promoted. The UFC boss said UFC 284 numbers are remarkable and Makhachev doesn’t know anything about it. UFC 284 is just days away from taking place. It’s without a doubt a massive...
Ciryl Gane is not worried about the wrestling danger of Jon Jones. Gane believes Jones will be ready for a move up to the heavyweight. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been out of action since defeating Dominick Reyes in Feb. 2020 at UFC 247. He relinquished the title following the win and embarked on a mission to become the heavyweight champion. Three years later, he will finally make his debut in the heavyweight division against former interim UFC heavyweight titleholder Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 on Mar. 4.
Mike Perry is ready to fill in against Jake Paul if need be. It has been almost two years since Mike Perry last fought in the UFC Octagon. In the time since then, he has been keeping very busy. Perry has fought in bare-knuckle for BKFC and is now turning his focus to boxing. A switch to boxing has been a popular path for former UFC fighters of late. Many former MMA champions have begun to make the switch to “celebrity” style boxing matches and now Perry hopes to be next. He has been calling out different opponents on social media and now is as close as ever to getting a shot at the number one boxer in terms of these sorts of bouts, Jake Paul.
