The Oregon women’s basketball team scored 33 points in the third quarter, a performance Ducks head coach Kelly Graves called one of the best quarters he’s seen during his Oregon career - all part of a 90-51 victory for the Ducks over the University of Portland on Saturday.

Freshman guard Chance Gray led the Ducks with 20 points, a career high for the freshman from Cincinnati.

Phillipina Kyei had a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Taylor Hosendove had nine points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Six players were in double-digit scoring for Oregon, with Endyia Rogers scoring 12, Taya Hanson scoring 11, Grace VanSlooten and Te-Hina Paopao each with ten points.

At one point during the third quarter, Oregon made 11 consecutive shots.

"We did it because I thought our defense was really aggressive," Graves said. "We got after them and then it led to some transition buckets. We got hot from the three; we started getting some shots at the rim, just things started to flow."

"We always talk about first five, starting the game and second half; so it always starts with defense, intensity, and I think that's kinda what led us to be able to get out and go and get the lead up," said Ducks freshman guard Chance Gray.

The Ducks will take a small break to focus on finals next week.

Oregon is back in action on December 11 for their Pac-12 opener hosting Oregon State.
