Deputy Involved in Traffic Collision with Pickup Truck

Avocado Heights, Los Angeles County, CA: A pickup truck and a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department vehicle were involved in a traffic collision early Saturday morning at the intersection of Workman Mill Road and Oakman Drive in the Avocado Heights area of Los Angeles County.

Industry Sheriff’s Station received notification of the deputy-involved traffic collision around 7:48 a.m., Dec. 3.

Multiple sheriff’s units arrived at the scene along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department to render aid to the officer and the patient in the other vehicle.

The Officer involved in the collision was uninjured and the driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
