PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Community Health of Northwest Florida held a tailgate party to celebrate the opening of two new clinics in Pensacola.
The new walk-in clinic and pharmacy will be open seven days a week.
It also opened the second Palafox location that has optometry and behavioral health services.
The celebration included food, activities, games, and performances by the Pine Forest High School marching band and cheerleaders.
"We've been trying to relocate our walk in services for quite some time and this building they're in now is the old LabCorp building which sat vacate for many years," Community Health of NWF CEO Chandra Smiley said. "In partnership with Greater Union Baptist Church, who owns what we're calling Palafox two, we were able to lease the space -- renovate the space so that we can have ample offices for behavioral health and wellness."
The event was part of Community Health's 30th anniversary celebration.
The organization now has 20 locations across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
