The Reno Fire Department (RFD) received the call just before 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 3. The home was fully involved when they arrived.
Authorities say both homes were vacant and neither had electricity. There was heavy vegetation between the homes, and the fire spread through the vegetation and caught the roof of the second home. Crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to a third home.
There were no injuries.
