I’M GOING TO STEP OUT OF THE WAY DIRECTLY BEHIND ME IS A REALLY BURNT OUT ROW HOME. YOU CAN SEE FIREFIGHTERS SPRAYING WATER RIGHT NOW INSTEAD OF THAT INSIDE OF THAT HOME. THAT IS WHERE THEY BELIEVE THE ORIGIN OF THE FIRE STARTED IN THAT SECOND FLOOR OF THIS ROW HOME. THEN IT QUICKLY SPREAD TO THE TWO, A JOINING ROW HOMES ON EITHER SIDE. HEAVY DAMAGE TO THE ONE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. A LOT OF THEM HAVE A LOT OF WOOD STRUCTURE INSIDE OF THEM. AND THEN OF COURSE, IF THAT FIRE ENDS UP SPREADING NORTH UP IN TOWARDS THE ATTIC AND THEN SPREADS BY LATERALLY, THAT’S WHEN IT SPREADS TO THE ADJOINING HOMES. IT CAN GO REALLY, REALLY QUICKLY. THEY WERE ABLE TO MAINTAIN THIS FIRE. RAY, WHO WAS A PHOTOGRAPHER WITH US, HE ACTUALLY LIVES IN YORK. HE MANAGED TO GET OUT HERE TO THE SCENE REALLY QUICKLY. AND THAT’S WHY YOU’RE SEEING THAT VIDEO. THOSE ARE THOSE FLAMES THAT YOU WERE SEEING FROM THAT HOUSE. AND RIGHT NOW, THE FIRE IS OUT, BUT THEY’RE TRYING TO GET THOSE HOTSPOTS. AND AGAIN, IN OLDER HOMES, YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU REALLY GET EVERY LITTLE SPOT BECAUSE AN OLDER HOMES, THINGS CAN QUICKLY SPREAD AND GET OUT OF CONTROL. WE WERE I DID LEARN THAT PEOPLE WERE LIVING IN THESE HOMES AND THEY HAVE BEEN DISPLACED A NICE RED CROSS WAS ON SCENE AND THEY’RE GOING TO TRY TO PUT THEM UP SOMEWHERE. BUT JUST TO TOP SITUATION, I’M GOING TO BE HERE FOR
