The charges are for a shooting at an apartment on the 2600 block of Humboldt Road Saturday afternoon. Officers say the 20-year-old victim is still in the hospital but is expected to recover from his injuries.

According to Green Bay police, this was not a random attack. Capt. Jeff Brester says the parties involved knew each other.

Thankfully, nobody else was injured that was in the area, but we have been talking to all the neighbors to make sure everything is OK.”

Multiple agencies were on the scene as part of a mutual aid response.

“If there is a large-scale incident, such as a shooting or major accident, we can request assistance from other agencies to initially respond to the scene. get everything under control,” Capt. Brester explained. “On this incident, the call came in. We were unaware of the total magnitude of the call .-- how many people had been injured, how many suspects were there, et cetera -- so we did do a mutual aid and were assisted by UW-Green Bay Police, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, and the De Pere Police Department.”
