Syracuse, N.Y. —
The Syracuse University men's soccer team continues its run towards the NCAA championship, defeating the Vermont Catamounts at the SU Soccer Stadium on Saturday, 2-1.

SU opened scoring in the 11th minute, with Curt Calov scoring an unassisted goal.
Vermont evened the score in the 23rd minute with a goal from Daniel Pacella, but the Orange regained the lead before halftime with a goal from Levonte Johnson assisted by Nathan Opoku, which would turn out to be the game-winning goal.

Syracuse, who won the ACC Championship and are ranked 3rd in the NCAA bracket, advance to play Creighton in the semifinal of the NCAA championship on December 9th.
