this is misleading by saying they don't want to pay "market value". they offered Freddie a better contract with the dodgers but due to his agent mishandlings and the lockout the braves went with Olson. They offered Swanson market value but he chose not to take the offer to see if another team wants to pay him more. It's more about greed than loyalty.

Dansby had 1 decent season batting. This last season. The only other time he batted over .248 was the covid year, which wasn't even a full season. He's a life time .255 hitter. I love his glove but he needs to comprise some on his end. I'd rather pay Turner
