Well folks, 'tis the season once more! To those who celebrate, Christmas is in the air. For many, that means gathering with loved ones to eat, drink, and be merry.
And though all the gift-giving on Christmas morning may seem like the main event of the day, Christmas dinner is also a big to-do for many families.
Christmas dinner can be a delicious and joyful ordeal, but it can also go very, very wrong.
Maybe your aunt was hosting and set out all the food buffet-style for people to make plates. Grandma had a little too much wine, and while reaching to make her plate, knocked the entire Christmas ham to the floor, where your aunt's dog promptly attacked it.
Or, perhaps your cousin decided to invite his brand-new girlfriend to dinner...and she just happened to be your therapist.
Or maybe you hosted Christmas dinner and prepared all the food yourself. Unfortunately, you gave everyone food poisoning and spent the entire night fighting for the bathroom against your many visiting relatives.
