SAN ANTONIO - What a matchup at the Rockpile! Two 13-0 teams, the Boerne Greyhounds taking on the Corpus Christi Calallen Wildcats.
Boerne returned the opening kickoff - and they had the foot on the gas the whole night. The Greyhounds scored on each of its next two drives and built a 30-point lead by halftime.
Quarterback Jaxon Baize to his brother Braden was effective all night. Jaxon threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns.
The Boerne Defense was also making plays. Koen Wolff intercepted a pass and returned it for a pick six.
The final score, 49-19.
The Greyhounds keep making history. It's the first 14-0 start in team history. They win big and are on to the state semis for the first time since '04. They’ll face off against the Tyler Chapel Hill Bulldogs at the Alamodome on Friday, December 9 at 7pm.

How about those Poth Pirates? They're moving on to the state semis, too. They hang on and beat Tidehaven 12-6.

Looking forward to Saturday’s games, too! What a fun one down at the Alamodome. Brennan and Westlake will duke it out at 2pm. This while Smithson Valley faces off against College Station up in Pflugerville.
