Tim Eder Reappointed to Great Lakes Protection Fund Board of Directors

Tim Eder of Lyndon Township was recently reappointed to the Great Lakes Protection Fund Board of Directors by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Eder is a trustee of Lyndon Township, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Research Development from Michigan State University.

He is reappointed for a term commencing Dec. 1, and expiring at the pleasure of the governor. 

The Great Lakes Protection Fund is a private, nonprofit corporation formed in 1989 by the Governors of the Great Lakes States. It is a permanent environmental endowment that supports collaborative actions to improve the health of the Great Lakes ecosystem.

The fund’s board of directors is comprised of two governor appointed representatives from each member state.  

This appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
