Indiana Health Fund (IHF) announced Wednesday the appointment of Dr. Camie Wright to its Board of Directors. The distinguished healthcare leader, clinical business strategist and community leader joined the board on Oct. 17.
Dr. Wright is an executive at CareSource, the nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, in Indianapolis where she serves as Vice President and Market Chief Medical Officer. In this important role, she acts as the clinical liaison to state agencies and internal and external stakeholders for CareSource. Her duties include the development, implementation and revision of clinical care standards and practice guidelines ensuring compliance with nationally accepted quality standards.
Prior to her CareSource position, Dr. Wright was an obstetrician-gynecologist and physician leader at Riverview Heath in Noblesville. She has earned BS and MD degrees from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Indiana University.

Dr. Wright also serves on the boards of the American Diabetes Association, the American Red Cross, and the Indiana Health Information Exchange.
