CRANDON, Wisc. (WJFW)- Crandon's boys basketball team was in action against Goodman-Pembine just a day after their girls team defeated the Patriots 73-8 at home.
The Cardinals' boys team was still looking for their first win of the season after losing their regular season opener against Rhinelander at home. Goodman-Pembine was also 0-1 coming in to their matchup.
This game was tied at 27 at the half, but Crandon used a big second half sure to come away with the 51-40 win.
Crandon gets their first win of the season, moving up to 1-1, and will look to make it two wins in a row when they travel to Wabeno High School to take on Laona/Wabeno on Tuesday.
Goodman-Pembine drops to 0-2 on the season, and will look to get their first win of the season on Tuesday when they host Elcho.
