The City of Wheeling is hosting Paws with Claus on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park located at the Tunnel Green Recreation Complex in East Wheeling.

Anyone attending is encouraged to bring your own camera so that you can take a photo of your pet with Santa Claus.

"Every year we reflect on the events we have done and what we can add to our already busy schedule of events for the year,” the city’s marketing specialist, Michele Rejonis, said. “We thought it would be a great opportunity to bring our fury friends and do an event for them here at the Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park in East Wheeling."

"We will also be selling raffle tickets for a gift basket for dogs, as well as dog bandanas and little bow ties, too,” Rochelle Barry, head of parks and recreation, added.
