JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Street repair work will begin 7 a.m. Monday in the 2100 Block of Timber Road in Jefferson City, a press release stated.

One lane will be open. Work is expected to be finished by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30.

Jefferson City Public Works also announced another pair of road closings earlier this week.

The first was Dunklin Street, which closed Nov. 28 within the 200 Block between Madison Street and Monroe Street for pavement repairs. It is expected to reopen Monday, Dec. 12, according to a press release.

Douglas Drive will closed Tuesday between Wayne Avenue and West Main Street to install storm sewers and street repair, according to a press release. That road is expected to reopen Friday, Dec. 30.
