LSU Lady Tigers roll past Tennessee
BATON ROUGE, La. (WVUE) - After LSU won their first 20 games, the majority of them by blowout, the criticism was that they haven’t played anybody. Head coach Kim Mulkey acknowledged recently that she scheduled light early to build confidence, believing that they’d be better prepared for when they faced a team like Tennessee last Monday. ZURIK: Mayor Cantrell’s security officers clocked time while nowhere near her
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - On Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 6:27 p.m., a public security camera mounted outside the city-owned Upper Pontalba Apartments shows New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell arrive at the apartment. Minutes later, the camera recorded her on the balcony, talking to NOPD officer Jeffrey Vappie. Cantrell and Vappie spent the next few hours inside the apartment. During that time, Vappie, as well as two other NOPD officers were being paid by taxpayers to protect the mayor.

Man’s body found alongside Slidell road identified by coroner
SLIDELL, La. (WVUE) - The body of a man found alongside a road has been identified by St. Tammany Parish Coroner, according to police. Suspect wanted for using flatbed truck to steal a car from parking lot
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - NOPD is seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted for stealing a car from a parking lot using a flatbed truck. Police say on Jan. 15, around 10:40 p.m., a 2004 Lexus RX300 was stolen from a parking lot in the 1900 block of Gentilly Boulevard. Surveillance footage showed a suspect using a flatbed truck to steal the Lexus.
