Ellsworth Road closed Dec. 3 for Queen Creek Holiday Festival & Parade

Plan ahead and allow extra time for travel this Saturday

It's almost here, the annual Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Parade and that means heads up on local road closures and restrictions this weekend.

The holiday event, from 2 to 7 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 3, will take place on Ellsworth Road and at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place before and during the parade.

Those Dec. 3 closures include:

  • The Pocket Park for Pups parking lot will be closed by 10 a.m.
  • The parade will result in a full closure of Ellsworth Road from Sierra Park Boulevard to Ocotillo Road from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Ellsworth Road will also be closed from Ocotillo to Rittenhouse roads from 1 to 7 p.m.
  • The Ellsworth and Ocotillo intersection will be closed from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

This community event is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek and the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by the Town of Queen Creek. There will be craft vendors, food vendors, live entertainment, activities, a hometown parade and pictures with Santa.

The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the tree lighting will happen at 6 p.m.
