Prosecutor: Arrest made in deadly hit-and-run crash in Old Bridge

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says that 32-year-old Marvin Tyler, of Sayreville, is now in custody.

Authorities say that an arrest has been made in a deadly hit-and-run crash where the victim was run over multiple times after getting into an altercation with the suspect.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says that 32-year-old Marvin Tyler, of Sayreville, is now in custody.
Officials say Tyler and 36-year-old Jason Freeman got into some sort of altercation in the parking lot of 100 Perrine Road in Old Bridge on Nov. 30. They say that Tyler got into his car and ran over Freeman multiple times and then drove away.
Freeman died from his injuries.
It was not clear what the altercation was about or what charges Tyler may be facing.
