PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a woman was shot in Providence Friday evening.
Police said the woman and a man were sitting in a parked car on Prairie Avenue when someone pulled up next to them.
The suspect fired several rounds into their vehicle before speeding off, according to police. The man wasn’t injured, but police said the woman was shot in the arm and face.
No arrests have been made at this time.
